Committee Mission:
Proactively and cooperatively shape governmental policies and practices as they relate to downtown issues.

Meeting time & location:
1st Monday of every month at 8:00am, 122 W. Washington Ave., 1st Floor Conference Room

Chair: Allen Arntsen (Foley & Lardner LLP)

Current Committee Projects:
  • Create effective two-way communication with local policy makers
  • Identify and prioritize DMI objectives and ally with the City to promote downtown Madison
  • Evaluate and recommend endorsement of candidates for local elective offices
  • Advocate for DMI's positions (approved by Board of Directors) on public policy issues
