Committee Mission:
The Quality of Life Downtown Committee will address behaviors and the physical environment to enhance the vibrancy, safety and aesthetics in the downtown area.

Meeting time & location:
2nd Thursday of every month at 8:00am, 122 W. Washington Ave., 1st Floor Conference Room

Chair: George Austin (Overture Foundation)

Current Committee Projects:
  • Advocate on issues affecting the quality of life for downtown residents, workers, and visitors
  • Identify specific quality of life standards and develop means to monitor these standards
  • Develop and guide the State of the Downtown metrics project
  • Work with the City of Madison to analyze quality of life issues in the Downtown Plan
