2013 DMI Annual Dinner

On Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at the Monona Terrace Community & Convention Center, over 500 DMI members, friends and downtown stakeholders gathered in celebration of the 2013 DMI Annual Dinner. Attendees enjoyed a great evening of networking and dinner as well as a keynote presentation by Peter Kageyama, an internationally recognized expert on community development, co-founder and producer of the Creative Cities Summit and author of the book, For the Love of Cities.

The dinner also served as the venue to present the 18th annual Community Asset Awards. The awards were developed as a way to publicly thank individuals and organizations who contribute significantly to improving the quality of life within the downtown community. The 2013 Community Asset Award recipients included the City of Madison and Madison Public Library Foundation, George Nelson, and W. Jerome Frautschi and Pleasant Rowland Frautschi.
