TWO MEN AND A TRUCK is currently looking for donation sites for their 2015 Movers for Moms campaign. The drive will kick-off at the end of March and wrap up the Friday before Mother’s Day. This year, they are working with the YWCA of Madison and Rock County to collect items for moms in shelter this Mother’s Day. Participating donation sites would receive: mention on their website with a link to your webpage, inclusion in all PR and promotion and the opportunity for media interviews. SVA, in their annual tradition, is kicking off the holiday season by giving to people in need. From November 3rd through November 26th the firm's Madison offices contributed 17,545 meals to the food/fund drive benefiting Second Harvest Foodbank. "With the holidays upon us and numerous local families that do not have the luxury of a holiday meal, giving back to our community is important to us," said Carl Schultz, President and CEO of SVA. "We are pleased to be involved with this important event that will feed thousands of people in need within our community again this year."

The NARI Remodeling Expo is taking place on Jan. 23-25 at the Madison Marriott Convention Center. Attendees will be able to meet over 100 of Madison area’s finest remodeling professionals and to see examples of NARI member’s most recent work in kitchens, baths, basement updates, whole house remodels, exterior improvements, landscapes, etc. Attendees also have the opportunity to see the latest in home improvement products, methods and services offered locally and to have all their remodeling questions answered. Join Isthmus for their very own cozy respite from your bleak Wisconsin January on Saturday, January 17 at the Isthmus Beer & Cheese Fest taking place at the Alliant Energy Center Exhibition Hall. A downtown sacred music event— featuring a 150-voice community choir—will be offered for the first time this Christmas season. Sponsored by First United Methodist Church and its Foundation as a gift to the community, the event will be held on Saturday, Dec. 20 at 7:30pm at the newly remodeled Orpheum Theater, 216 State St. Admission to this family-friendly concert is free. First Church, located one block from the state Capitol at 203 Wisconsin Ave., has long served as a rehearsal space and benefit concert site for many musical groups. As a result of these relationships, other events will be offered at the church. They include the Isthmus Brass on December 11 at 7:30 benefit Porchlight, Perfect Harmony men’s choir on December 12 at 7:30 p.m. and December 14 at 3 p.m. and Ken Lonnquist and Friends in Old Befana on January 4 at 10:30 a.m. More information on these events can be found at

Boardman & Clark LLP recently announced the addition of Patrick Berry to the firm's Business Practice Group. Patrick graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School, and received the Daniel H. Grady Award for graduating first in his law school class. In his practice, Patrick focuses primarily on assisting corporations and other business entities on general corporate matters including business formation and contracts. "We have looked forward to Patrick joining us since he first worked with the firm as a law clerk in 2013," said Jon Nordenberg, a partner in the Business Practice Group.
