Come out on Thursday October 6th from 5:30pm to 9:00pm for the FCI Art Show. Connect with our local Madison/Middleton community as you appreciate -- and bid on -- art, sip wine and savor tasty hors d'oeuvres while live music plays in the background. This free event benefits Middleton Outreach Ministry (MOM) serving those in need in Madison, Middleton and Cross Plains. The FCI Art Show and Auction is a fund-raising event, hosted by Food Concepts (FCI) and sponsored by many local area businesses who are committed to the ongoing support of the arts and philanthropy in our Madison/Middleton community. Join Middleton Outreach Ministry (MOM) on December 3rd for their Creating for a Cause Holiday Art Fair. Over 60 local artists, are donating 20% or more of their proceeds to MOM's homelessness prevention and hunger fighting programs. Come and shop for a cause! Beautiful pottery, many styles of jewelry, fused and blown glass, fiber arts including purses, scarves and aprons, wood, paintings, and prints - all created by local artists. Join colleagues, volunteers and community members at United Way's Days of Caring/Campaign Kickoff on Tuesday, August 16th from 11:30-1pm at Madison Mallards Duck Pond. It's the annual community cookout, sponsored by American Family Insurance, which recognizes the important work volunteers are accomplishing in Dane County and kicks off the 2016 United Way of Dane County Campaign. Kahler Slater, a Madison and Milwaukee-based architecture and interior design firm, is pleased to announce the advancement of Housing and Hospitality Team Leader Thomas Miller, AIA to Principal. Miller joined Kahler Slater in 2014, bringing with him significant market expertise from around the country in multi-family housing and hospitality project types including new construction, existing renovations and historic restorations. Miller holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture from the University of California at Berkley, and a Master of Architecture degree from Columbia University in New York. He is a registered architect and involved in numerous industry and local trade organizations.
