You can now purchase Porchlight Products and Just Bakery items on-site at Porchlight's commercial kitchen located at 1704 Thierer Road. They have opened up a retail store to make it easier for you to get your favorite products. They sell 3 types of scones, 3 types of jams, apple butter, applesauce, dilly beans, curtido, and sauerkraut. Check it out Monday and Wednesdays from 7-9am and Saturdays from 8am-2pm.

Enjoy Madison's best views, a DCB brew, and a good old-fashioned Wisconsin fish fry while listening to some of the nation's best Bluegrass bands every Friday at The Edgewater. Fish Fry available in The Icehouse at 5 PM, live music starts at 6 PM. NPR Music's Artist to Watch & Rolling Stone Country's Artist to Know, Dead Horses, make their debut to the Brewgrass Fridays on The Grand Plaza in partnership with Door County Brewing Co. on June 1st.

Join the Wisconsin Bike Fed for the 2018 Wisconsin Bike Summit on Saturday, May 5th at the Park Hotel on the Capitol Square. Presentations and workshops will cover a wide range of topics with a focus on bicycle equity, regional advocacy, safe streets and the new generation of infrastructure, mountain biking, connected trail network and more. The Summit brings together bicycling and equity advocates, transportation planners, elected officials, and others, all working in diverse ways to make Wisconsin a great place to bicycle. Monona Terrace presents Meditation at Monona Terrace on Wednesdays from March 28-May 30 from noon-12:45pm (no classes April 11th and May 9th and special time of 5-5:45pm on April 18th). These classes are free and open to the public and are touted by attendees as the most impactful program Monona Terrace offers. Join The Edgewater on May 5th from 2-7pm on The Grand Plaza for Madison’s 3rd Annual Kentucky Derby Party, benefiting Community Around the Children’s Hospital (CATCH). The outdoor event will feature Kentucky-style bluegrass with The Dang-its followed by Madison favorite, The Big Payback and of course, their video wall with a live broadcast of the 144th Kentucky Derby. Sip on Mint Juleps, Basil Bourbon Lemonades, Kentucky Mules, beer samples and nosh on great derby inspired fare. Derby attire is not required, but certainly encouraged as a Best Hat competition has been added to this year’s celebration. No reservations required—the event is free and open to the public. Grab your canoe, kayak or stand-up paddleboard and a fun costume for the 39th annual Isthmus Paddle & Portage on Saturday, June 16th starting at 7am. Isthmus is proud to host over 900 participants from across the country. The race begins at James Madison Park with a 1-mile paddle on Lake Mendota, followed by a 1-mile portage past the Capitol and Dane County Farmers' Market, before heading to the final 2.5-mile paddle across Lake Monona and the finish line at Olbrich Park. This year's line-up at the World's Largest Brat Festival will make you want to start Friday and stay through Monday. Brat Fest alumni Aaron Lewis will headline on the Grand Stage, along with The Gin Blossoms and Blackstone Cherry. Bobaflex and Stryper round out this year's headliners. The Foundation for Madison’s Public Schools invites you to attend their Adopt-a-School Summit happening on Thursday, May 3rd from 8:00-11:00am at Door Creek Church. The Adopt-a-School Summit will help you gain perspective on the needs of our schools and how the program works to establish and strengthen school-community partnerships. It will also provide an opportunity for existing and potential Adopt-a-School partners to learn about best practices and the many ways partners are supporting their schools. In their fifth year of unparalleled partnership, the Madison Region Economic Partnership and Urban League of Greater Madison will host the Madison Region Economic Development & Diversity Summit, a joint event for Madison Region business and community leaders focused on economic development and diversity. The day-long summit will engage, educate, and empower attendees around issues related to economic, workforce, and community development. Join MOM on April 23rd through the 29th for their Annual Canstruction® Madison event. Each year, this event brings together teams from businesses, churches, schools and organizations around Dane County to build giant structures made of canned goods and packaged food at West Towne Mall. The teams compete for awards, but with a primary goal to help End Hunger in our community. The community is then invited to view the structures and vote for the people's choice award, both through social media and at West Towne Mall. After the week-long event, all food is donated to the MOM Food Pantry, one of the largest food pantries in the area, serving West Madison, Middleton and Cross Plains. For more info, click here.

The 37th Annual Crazylegs Classic race is happening on Saturday, April 28th at 10am. This annual race starts at the picturesque Capitol Square, winds through the beautiful UW-Madison campus, and finishes on the field in historic Camp Randall Stadium. There will be a post-race celebration with refreshments, awards, and live entertainment from UW Marching Band and DJ Shawna –Midwest’s Premier Open Format DJ (Shawna Nicols – UW Women’s Basketball alum ’03).
