Madison Water Utility is offering bill credit rebates of up to $100 for replacing older models with high-efficiency (low water use) toilets. The program is part of our Water Conservation and Sustainability Plan and it’s already saved half a billion gallons! Madison businesses and nonprofits can replace up to 20 toilets per property through this program. Over 60 local artists, are donating 20% or more of their proceeds to MOM's homelessness prevention and hunger fighting programs. Come and shop for a cause! Join colleagues, volunteers and community members at United Way's Days of Caring/Campaign Kickoff on Tuesday, August 16th from 11:30-1pm at Madison Mallards Duck Pond. It's the annual community cookout, sponsored by American Family Insurance, which recognizes the important work volunteers are accomplishing in Dane County and kicks off the 2016 United Way of Dane County Campaign. Mary Pat Williams has joined Johnson Bank as Vice President, Commercial Banking Relationship Manager in Madison. Williams comes to Johnson Bank with 34 years of experience in commercial banking. Williams previously served as Vice President, Commercial Banking at U.S. Bank where she was recognized as a top performing commercial banker.

Kahler Slater, a Madison and Milwaukee-based architecture and interior design firm, is pleased to announce the advancement of Housing and Hospitality Team Leader Thomas Miller, AIA to Principal. Miller joined Kahler Slater in 2014, bringing with him significant market expertise from around the country in multi-family housing and hospitality project types including new construction, existing renovations and historic restorations. Miller holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture from the University of California at Berkley, and a Master of Architecture degree from Columbia University in New York. He is a registered architect and involved in numerous industry and local trade organizations.
