You are invited to the Alliant Energy Center (AEC) Campus Master Plan Open House #1 taking place on Tuesday, June 19th from 5-7pm at the Alliant Energy Center Exhibition Hall, Upstairs Lounge. The purpose of the Campus Master Plan is to engage the community in a process that helps define common strategies and goals for the future of the AEC. The planning and engagement process is designed to result in a concise set of recommendations and implementation strategies for short- and long-term improvements that reinforce the guiding vision for the AEC Campus. The Open House will provide an opportunity to learn how the AEC is currently used, consider growth opportunities, share your own ideas for enhancing the AEC campus and surrounding area and provide feedback on preliminary plans. RMR Financial Advisors, LLC has modified their company name to RMR Wealth Advisors. While the term “financial advisors” is still relevant to their services they offer, they feel this change brings them more in line with the overall assistance and support we provide. They did not change ownership, get acquired, alter our business relationships or change their focus in serving clients. Their purpose as a team of individuals is to provide planning, portfolio management and service that is exceptional through focus, integrity and hard work remains unchanged.

The Morning Sports Report is a quarterly breakfast series, presented by Madison Area Sports Commission and ESPN Madison. It brings together those interested or working in sports. The event begins with networking, followed by a short program covering a featured topic. Join them on Tuesday, June 19th from 7:45–9:00am at HotelRED. The annual meeting of Capitol Neighborhoods, Inc. (CNI) will be held on Monday, June 18th at Monona Terrace. While there will the annual election of district representatives, all downtown residents and employers are welcome to attend. There will be a cash bar and light refreshments provided. This year the featured speaker will be Jason Ilstrup, the DMI President. CNI encourages all DMI members to attend and participate in a lively discussion about the future direction of our downtown.

The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced the addition of Samantha C. Skenandore to the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group, as Of Counsel, Tribal Law in its Madison office. Skenandore focuses her practice on both federal Indian law and tribal law, advising tribal and corporate clients in tribal governance, governmental affairs, corporate transactions, real estate, labor issues and litigation.
